The bit about NPR made me laugh. I've noticed more and more spammers follow me - the reason I steer away from using scripts is that I like to "approve" the people I follow. If someone follows me, I look at their page - recent updates, information, background, etc - before hitting the "Follow" button. Great post! The bit about NPR made me laugh.
