The Linklaunder plugin never worked for me either, but I'm 99.9% positive it's not a trojan. I can vouch for the creator that he's a really good guy. I think the community never embraced the plugin enough to get enough blogs that the plugin could work. So mark it down as a 'beta' and not as a virus.
