There are a ton of PR and Marketing firms out there, and Columbus is no exception. I’ve worked with a lot of different firms in the last few years of doing web design and search engine optimization and have gotten a feel for how different firms work (or don’t work).
Recently I started working with a Marketing Firm that was really cool and worth writing about. Something about the way they do business is a breath of fresh air. And I suspect that in a few years they will be the premier marketing firm in central Ohio, so you’d better get to know them sooner rather than later.
I’ve had the great pleasure of working with MJ2 Marketing from Dublin for the past couple of weeks on a few projects and have been really amazed at their process and their work. The three main principles of the firm, Megan + Anna + Katelin are awesome.
What I really like about working with them is that they approach every problem with fresh eyes. Nothing is boilerplate.
From a client’s perspective, they also do something unique. They talk with you. And call you. And email you. And meet with you in person. A lot. Yup, they do Web 2.0 the way business has always been done before- in person. And it’s really nice.
Managing clients myself (in my freelance business) has shown me how difficult it can be to stay up-to-date on where each project sits. With so many things that have to come together for a modern website to take shape… well it can be a nightmare trying to manage all of that. (At least for me).
And that’s why I have so much respect for MJ2. They work closely with clients and keep everyone on the same page, and they do it gracefully. And it goes without saying that their work is awesome, and they stay on the cutting edge, etc.. but what really sets them apart from the rest of the design houses out there is that they care.
So if you are looking for that full service print or web design company in Columbus, I really couldn’t suggest MJ2 more.
(PS: Although this may seem like a paid post, MJ2 had nothing to do with me writing this… in fact they don’t even know about it until I press publish. They are just so good they deserve a post!)
