Wordpress Design Portfolio

Many people can build a website.  But if you are looking for a beautiful website that is:

  1. Easy to use
  2. Easy to update
  3. Ranks well in the search engines
  4. Costs a fraction of something from an agency

Then you are absolutely in the right place.  Take a look at some of my recent works, and then get in touch

Cramer Fundraising Blog

Blog for Cramer & Associates Fundraising

Cramer and Associates needed a blog to talk about fundraising and fundraising projects.

Working in conjunction with MJ2 Marketing, we put together a website that looks great and is simple to use.  Some of my favorite things about this site are:

  1. Built on The Thesis Theme for awesome SEO and a consistent framework.
  2. Uses Futura Bold font in the header and sidebar (Futura Bold is one of Wes Anderson’s primary fonts for his films, and I just love his movies!)
  3. Video embedded in top right sidebar
  4. Testimonials widget in sidebar randomly pulls testimonials and changes them up with each page load.

Diana Long is the ideal client.  She has great taste, is a positive force, and knows exactly what she wants.  Diana and I worked together to update her blog for SEO, usability, and ease-of-use purposes.  We used the same colors and kept the branding the same, but made sure to put emphasis on the email newsletter and Diana’s blog posts.

Check out Diana’s work here.  You’ll be impressed!

Ms. Single Mama is based on the Thesis Theme and features excellent readability, e-commerce integration to sell an e-book (which allowed me inclusion into E-Junkie’s developer list), and great SEO.  Alaina, the author, is a great writer and tells an incredible story.  If you haven’t been to her site, you have to check it out.

A local- yet massive- Buckeye Football blog that needed space for advertising and a really cool slideshow feature on the homepage that would change with each new post.  You just have to see this site to know exactly how cool it is.  Check it out here.

It’s a small world.  When Dean Ramsden approached me and said he used to teach at the Omega Holistic Institute where I worked for a summer, it only seemed natural that we should work together.

Dean and I created a secure, beautiful, and search engine optimized site to expand his healing practice.

Check out Dean’s site and read up on some of his awesome work.

Jersey Pillows

Jersey Pillows was a fun project.  Since they needed an ecommerce site in addition to a blog, we ended up building a more static site that usual.  The blog is still there sharing the message, but we purposely made the site easy to use and share-able.  Some of the cool parts of this blog include….

  1. ‘Tell your parents about this’ button allows kids to send the site to their parents email… hopefully promoting a sale.
  2. Slideshow in the sidebar shows 16 unique photos of kids with their jersey pillows.
  3. E-Commerce integration with paypal
  4. Drop-Down navigation

Check out Jersey Pillows!

Dr. Saale DDS was a very fun project.  Dr. Saale wanted a simple website that was easy to use and did well in the search engines.  This project was an excellent chance to do the basics very well.  This site includes what you would expect (but don’t always see) on a Doctor’s website, including:

  1. A full-featured appointment setter:  Patients can give all of their contact details online, as well as specifying a date and time that would work best for them.
  2. Interactive Directions:  Using Google Maps, you can get directions and see an overhead shoot of the Dentist’s office.  All of this is embedded into the site so you can do all of this without going to Google.  What could be easier?

Check out Dr. Saale’s site!
